What the Virtual Museum of the Hamster is about

Foreword
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Virtual Museum of the Hamster (VMH from now on)!
First of all, some boring but necessary information about the museum curator.
I'm a hamster lover to the point of  being a member of a hamster association (Associazione Italiana Criceti) and I'm also fascinated by all hamster related stuff... from all different cages and accessories, to hamster-themed gadgets... I also like to learn how hamsters are considered in different countries and cultures, not to mention spotting hamster references e.g. in movies, TV shows and more!
So, my idea of collecting all of this stuff was born. But since a real collection needs money and space, I've decided to start a virtual collection instead. I still hope to turn this into a real museum one day!

How can you contribute?
Your contribute is greatly appreciated! You can just suggest general improving, or suggest a subject for next issues, or send me pictures and/or stories you think would go well on there. Do you own a very special hamster cage? Did you recently go to a hamster show? Did you see a hamster in a movie? Tell me and have your name written in Hamster History!
I only ask you to own the copyright for the stuff you send me, or at least have permission from the original copyright holder.
I don't ask you to send me REAL stuff, this is a VIRTUAL museum after all...

What this blog is NOT about
This blog is NOT about advertising. I'm not advising you to buy any of the stuff I talk about on there, I'm only reporting them for cultural value. For the same reason, please don't write advertising hamster (or non-hamster) products. Thanks!
Also, this blog is NOT about hamster care. You don't expect a car museum to teach you how to drive, do you? If you want more information about hamster care, you can find some great websites in my links.

When will the blog be updated?
Whenever I have time and/or stuff to put in! No less than one update a week, I promise.

Final Word
First of all, please note I'm Italian, so my English is not perfect. This also means I can start an Italian version of the site if enough people is interested.
Secondly, well that's all. I hope you enjoy your virtual visit at the VMH!
